Kreis Level Political Leader's Visor Cap-This German Political Leader's Cap is piped in white as this is for the Kreis (district) level. This example is choice. There is no mothing at all. The body is made of a tan cloth material in a tricot weave with the brown velvet center band. The top has a fine saddle shape. The insignia consists of the long straight winged political eagle and the fancy wreath configuration with enameled political cockade. These both retain the majority of their finish and show a nice matte gold gilt. This cap has a nice early bullion chin strap which is secured by two gold pebbled buttons. The visor shows some slight scuffing so please see photos. The interior of this size 58 cap is lined in gold rayon that is very clean. The sweatband and moisture shield are in place and excellent. There is tissue paper still in place inside this cap. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield with a size tag that reads '58'. There is no RZM tag on this example. Again, a choice example.
