German WWII Fire Police Officer's Visor Cap-This is for a fire police officer and it is a private purchase example. The cap is produced in dark blue/purple wool that is in beautiful condition. There is red piping around the top panel and at the upper and lower edges of the black velvet center band. There are polished aluminum cockade and eagle and wreath. The chinstrap is the twisted silver bullion for an officer. This is also in fine condition. The visor is shiny black vulkanfibre with the textbook checkered pattern underneath. The interior is fully lined in gold rayon. The ersatz sweatband is excellent. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield with maker info. It is a size 59. This is a special cap that is exceptionally nice.
