Original period manufacture. Silver medal, with likely an older replacement ribbon, and period style buckle suspender. Named on the edge to 847 FARr SERGt ROBt WILSON 9TH Bde RA.. Nice old silver patina finish. Ancestry has his service record on file, served for 22 years, discharged in 1867. During the Crimean War he earned the campaign medal, 2 clasps Inkermann & Sebastopol and the Turkish medal. Two good conduct badges, awarded the Long Service Medal in 1863.
