British Victorian Era, 1827 Pattern Rifle Regiment Officer's sword *ON HOLD TOM*

Original period manufacture. A clean example with a 33 inch polished steel blade, which runs straight and true, no corrosion issues. Six pointed star with a brass disc on the obverse ricasso. Black painted steel guard, backstrap and pommel with a shagreen wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire. Steel patina finish scabbard, dent free, with some light surface corrosion on the drag.
