Russian 1881 Pattern Dragoon Sword, Indo-Arabic Numbers

Original period manufacture. Late 19th century sword based on the Imperial Russian 1881 Dragoon sword. Polished steel blade measures 32 inches in length, with Arabic numerals on the reverse ricasso. The blade has a drift to the left about six inches behind the point, no real corrosion issues, minimal nicks in the cutting edge and a nice luster to the steel. Brass guard and pommel, with a one-piece wooden grip. The pommel cap cover is missing, exposing the tang screw. Blue finish steel scabbard, with Arabic markings on the throat and drag.
