Army (Heer) aluminum belt buckle by Schmidt & Co. 1937

Rare army belt buckle made in aluminum that is is made by Schmidt & Co., Schwelm and dated 1937 which is a rarely encountered manufacturer. The buckle still shows great detail on front and retains quite some bits of its genuine green finish that in some occasions is completely gone. A stunning buckle, complete with maker marked leather tab.
