Army (Heer) aluminum belt buckle by Julius Maurer 1936

Nice light worn, very early, aluminum belt buckle with leather tab, maker marked by Julius Maurer, Oberstein dated 1936. The buckle is marked with the same matching logo of the Maurer company, also dated 1936. The buckle lost some of its green coating as usually but still retains very sharp details on the eagle. A stunning example for 1936!
