Citation grouping of 'Obergefreiten' Herbert Kröger who served within Panzer Rgt.36 of the 14.Pz.Div.1) A4 size 'Panzerkampfabzeichen' (silver/panzercrew) citation (actually it was designated as 'Panzerkampfwagenabzeichen' which was altered in 'Panzerkampfabzeichen'.The document has been signed by 'Generalmajor' and divsional commander Friedrich Kühn (RK 4-7-1940 ,DKiG 22-4-1942)Kühn was KIA during a bombing on Berlin on 15-2-1944.2) BWB citation which has been handed out 'Im Felde' and which has been signed by the commanding officer ,'Hauptmann' Willy Langkeit (DKiG 1-7-1942,RK 9-12-1942,EL 7-12-1943,'Panzerkampfabzeichen 75')!!!!3) EK II citation which has been signed by 'Oberst' and divisional commander Otto Kohlermann (RK 22-2-1942)4) Very interesting letter addressed to the Kröger relatives which informs them that when the commander (14.Pz.Div.) wascommanded to leave the 'Kessel' (cauldron) ,Herbert was still alive and with the remnants of Pz.Rgt.36 in the company of 'Feldmarschall' Paulus.What happened afterwards with him is unclear?4) Postumously? ,'Ostmedaille' citation which has been issued on 14-2-1945!!5) 2 photos of Herbert Kröger.Great Pz.Rgt.36 grouping with Stalingrad climax!!
