Nurse's Aide Coif Hat Red Cross / Civil Defense

Original vintage WWII nurse's aide coif hat. Small American Red Cross / Civilian Defense patch on the front. I wouldguessit is about a size 21 or 21 1/2. There is some yellow staining on the white near the patch. Two buttons in the back. a few black specks.The nurse's aide uniform was allowed to be worn after the first 34 hours of the nurse's aide course had been completed (total course time was 80 hours). The coif hat was awarded after certification.
