A very scarce original '1961 Liverpool County Stand gilt and enamel pin badge' depicting the mythical symbol of Liverpool, a 'Liver Bird' bearing a piece of laver seaweed in its beak, the front with official low issue number '66', the reverse embossed 'TRANSFERABLE' and 'ONLY VALID SPRING. AUTUMN. YULETIDE. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
