Rare Georgian Period Gold and Whitby Jet Maltese Cross Pendant c1830

Here on offer is a rare Georgian gold and Whitby Jet Maltese cross pendant, circa 1830.This striking brooch features a bold geometric design in the shape of Maltese cross with four Whitby Jet stone triangular segments. These are held in place by a central gold collet setting, that in turn fit around a center square crystal compartment.
