Third Reich SA Dagger Hanger and Belt Loop

The variety and ingenuity of these early vertical dagger hangers deserve further research and the publication of an accompanying book. Most are unique, made by local leather workers to satisfy the needs of local SA men primarily in the pre RZM era.This example is a 'skeleton' version having an Assmann marked spring clip riveted to the top of a very small leather fitting, which has a horizontal grip strap.The belt loop is a single piece of leather folded to include a swivelling, early production spring clip in the lower loop.Fabulous addition to an early dagger.
