Third Reich SA Vertical Hanger and Belt Loop.

Near mint 'official' pattern vertical hanger for the SA dagger as approved by the Reich Patent Office in 1934. A similar example is shown on page 51 of Ralf Sigerts excellent book 'The Service Daggers of the SA and the N.S.K.K.' It should be noted that the line drawings form the patent application show a 'D' ring beneath the upper spring clip. This clip is missing from the example in the book, but present in the example we offer here.Leather is is superb condition, top clip is a very early, perfect, long nosed example. Cross strap has a correctly operating snap clip, and the lower scabbard fitting swivels as intended, such that the dagger may be worn in both the vertical and slanted orientation.Included is a matching belt loop having a magnetic 'D' ring riveted into the lower clip.Very rare hanger in the best of condition.
