Denazified Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge 'AS'

Denazified Kriegsmarine Minesweeper War Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungsverbände). The Minesweeper's war badge was instituted on 31 August 1940 by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral 'Erich Raeder'. The badge is a late war 'Zink' example, the badge is showing great detail and still retains a fair amont of its original finish. The badge is complete with a functional pin and catch. The badge is nicely maker marked with 'AS' in a triangle, still an unknown manufacturer from the Gablonz area. Regrettably the swastika has been denazified. Still a nice original Kriegsmarine badge in good worn condition!
