Log of the Armed Guard Detachment of the WWII Liberty Ship 'S.S. Benjamin Carpenter'

The S.S. Benjamin Carpenter was a Liberty Ship that was launched on 14 April 1944. The log of the ship's armed guard detachment was written in a record book that was produced by the U.S. Government Printing Office. The book has hard cloth covers, and it is approximately 8-1/2 inches by 14 inches. The log book begins on 16 December, 1944, with Voyage Number 3, from San Francisco, California. The last log entry is dated 9 December, 1945, at Luzon in the Philippine Islands. Very good condition.
