WWII US Army Double Buckle Combat Boots Named-These boots replaced the low quarter boots worn with the leggings in 1943.They are leather with rubber soles.The boots are in overall good condition.The leather has some stiffness but still fairly supple.The inside of upper cuff is named to a Charles Hoffman32859603.Clearly identifying who these belonged to.There is also stamped inside the cuff all the contract info.These are a size 8D and 1944 dated.The soles have very little wear and the rubber has stiffened over time.A nice example ready for some research!
