WWII US Army Folding Entrenching Tool Shovel

WWII US Army Folding Entrenching Tool Shovel- This is an m43 later pattern cover that allows the hook on back to move into three different positions. It shows some wear. Under flag it is maker marked Gen S Corp. 1944. There is also a GI laundry number that has somewhat faded. O 4328? The Shovel has moderate wear.The wood handle has no more original OD green paint and a chip out of wood on lower handle.The helve of the shovel retains some original paint and a period repaint. It is marked US Wood 1945, and is a harder to find shovel.The locking nut works well but shows signs of someone using a tool to loosen at one point.
