Danish M1867 Rolling Block Rifle Bayonet, Alexander Coppel Mfg

Original era manufacture. German manufactured bayonet for the Kingdom of Denmark for use with the rolling block rifle. Dark steel patina to the yataghan blade with no corrosion issues, just typical clouding and staining from age. Pressed checkered leather grips secured with five steel rivets, dark steel patina finish to the guard and pommel with numerous issue and serial numbers.The black leather bodied scabbard is quite sound with a matching patina finish to the metal throat and chape. The lower attaching staple looks to be a replacement.
