WWII German Carbide Railroad Reichsbahn Lantern

WWII German Carbide Railroad Reichsbahn Lantern-Very interesting piece of field gear which is often times associated with railway lanterns because of the multiple colors of the lenses. This is made of brown bakelite. It stands approximately 19 inches high if the hanging chain and hook is fully extended. The body itself is approximately 9 inches high. Usually this comes with three lenses, one in clear, one in green and another in red. Unfortunately, the colored lenses are missing but you could certainly replace if you chose to. You can remove the lens doors which still have the glass protectors. The interior has the set up for the kerosene lantern. It has a bakelite carrying handle and body.A hook on the reverse for hanging. This hook has a waffenamt and dated 1938. Overall sound and untouched and quite scarce.
