M42 Waffen-SS steel helmet hkp64 1943 (fake decals!)

Typical late war M42 helmet produced by hkp. Light worn example. This is a classic no decal example with a 1943 dated liner band. The exterior is coated in field green, sand mixed, factory paint – typical for this manufacturer – and shows normal wear. The helmet is complete with its original liner, size marked 57! Original draw string present! The leather shows normal wear and remains supple and strong. Maker marked shell in the rear hkp64, lotnumber: 4379.Helmet had a set of very accurate copies of SS decals added by a collector post-war.A nice helmet for those who don't want to spend 15.000 for a real double decal example.
