HT7 Appealing Waffen-SS Infanterie EM visored cap

Appealing Waffen-SS Infanterie EM visored cap, with high peak and measuring approximately size 60, body is made of issue quality field grey colored wool, cap band is black wool and it is edged with white wool piping, having a composite visor showing fine crazing (but absent chipping) and having a grey colored underside, with an SS style black leather chinstrap, the silver finished zinc eagle is marked SS 475/39 RZM, it is missing one prong and was mounted to the cap for the photos with aid of a straight pin, the silver washed Totenkopf is tightly affixed with prongs which do not protrude through the lining, the lining fabric itself is a ribbed grey colored rayon material, the celluloid sweat shield is unmarked and has cracks with a small missing section at the rear tip, the grey colored leatherette sweatband is torn and missing at the cap's front, the cork padding at forehead is intact, approximately 50% of the the visor's stitching has been redone, being resewn at either side with green colored thread, the caps' body is barely worn and there is no insect or other damage to it, the rear vertical band seam is partially undone and there is a nick to the rear upper band piping at cap's rear, this is concealed by the body's over hang, USD $5000
