Description

The field gray wool tunic is very clean, retaining the cloth collar liner. The tunic has NCO tresse around the collar, with the slip on shoulder straps of an Oberfeldwebel. The piping of the shoulder straps as well as the collar tab litzen are red, reflecting service in the artillery branch. Above the upper left pocket are three lops for the wear of a ribbon or medal bar. The buttonhole has the ribbon of the 1939 War Merit Cross Second Class. The upper right breast bears a machine embroidered national eagle which is machine stitched to the tunic through the lining. On the lower right sleeve is the bullion trade badge of an Ordnance Technician. The tunic retains all buttons. Tunic was custom tailored and sized for a smarter fit by the original owner. While the tunic shows signs of wear and use, it is without holes, damage or repairs, and it is in excellent condition. Overall the tunic makes a very impressive appearance.
