German WWII, Wehrmacht, Steel Helmet Red/Yellow Maneuver Band

Original era manufacture. Reversible, red to yellow cotton band worn on German steel helmets prior to WWII during field maneuvers or wargames. Adjusting buckle in the back, with three short attaching straps on the bottom edge, each with a metal hook to snap onto the helmet edge. Two of the three metal hooks are missing the bottom portion, still will fit the helmet properly for display. Light wear and use.
