Description

A rare original early 20th century period 'Boilermakers & Steel Shipbuilders Society membership badge'; gilt brass example in the form of a blue enamel fourleaf Clover title surround, the centre bearing two recessed vignettes depicting a ship and boiler with a white enamel 'Rod of Asclepius' divider, the reverse impressed with early make's details 'FATTORINI BRADFORD' (an address format used between 1911 and 1913). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or enamel loss, very minor service wear.Height approx 32mm.
