Description
This is an original early brown ribbed trousers, most likely intended for early political organisations or SA-Sturm units, dating from the early 1930s period. The trousers are made from a very attractive ribbed cord-type fabric, which is typical for early paramilitary and political clothing and seldom encountered today in such appealing condition. The trousers retain their distinctive rich brown colour, strongly associated with early SA and political uniforms. The cut and construction are clearly pre-war, featuring lace-up lower legs designed to be worn with high boots, an early-style button fly, and waistband adjustment tabs. These characteristics make the trousers particularly well suited for an early-period mannequin or display.Condition is very good overall. There is a small period repair on the lower left leg, located at boot height. This repair is discreet and, when displayed on a mannequin or worn with boots, is virtually invisible. Apart from this minor repair, the trousers show only light age-related wear and no notable damage.Early trousers of this type, especially in this desirable brown ribbed fabric, are increasingly difficult to find. They represent an important early phase in German political and paramilitary uniform development and are highly sought after by collectors focusing on early SA or pre-war German material.A very attractive and honest early pair of trousers, ideal for completing a mannequin or early political/SA display.
