Description
Excellent and well preserved German Police 'Gendarmerie' Shako in very good condition, having brown leather accents instead of black (=police)! Shows one moth damage on the upper right. Maker marked by Robert Lubstein 'Erel', size marked 57 1/2. Liner is soft and complete. Reverse is dated 1939. Cocarde dated 1939 and also maker marked by C. Hoffmann. Detailed aluminum police eagle on the front. Missing one screw on the back, but still firmly attached. A beautiful piece of headgear!
