(Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co.), Solingen, one of the most respected German edged-weapon makers of the period.This dagger is in quasi unissued condition, showing virtually no signs of wear or use. The blade remains bright and clean, retaining its original factory polish, with crisp edges and no corrosion, pitting, or sharpening. The W.K.C. Solingen maker's mark is sharp and clearly visible.The grip is excellent, with deep, even coloration and no cracks, chips, or repairs. The applied RLB sunwheel emblem is perfectly seated and displays crisp, well-defined detail. The crossguard and pommel retain their original finish, showing only the lightest honest age patina, with no signs of abuse or over-cleaning.The scabbard is in superb condition, with a smooth black finish free from dents or damage. The original leather hanger and metal fittings are present and correct, showing only minimal, age-consistent wear and remaining fully intact.
