A good original circa 1979 Metropolitan Police 150th Anniversary Commemorative Tower Mint Medallion' mounted in a removable outer case and chain and worn as a necklace. The obverse displaying an embossed Metropolitan Police badge, the reverse bearing a Coat of Arms with date below 1829 - 1979 with the figures of two police officers representing the Victorian era and present time inscribed 'Metropolitan Police 150th Anniversary'. Very good condition, small nick to outer case.Diameter approx 39mm.
