Heer M42 Helmet, Storage Unit Find

This is a nice example of an ET66 M42 Army, #2736. The helmet is finished in the ET schiefergrau paint, with a heer adler on the left side. The rear skirt bears the maker and heat lot stampings, with a partially legible owner's name inked in the same area. The liner and strap are fully intact, marked and complete, but show the signs of long-term storage. The one anomaly is the missing slot washer at the right front rivet. There is no sign of anything touched, but the washer is absent. View the pictures, it is as untouched as they get–especially with the other two rivets being perfect. Based on the in-hands view, if something was corrected, it was most surely done in the period. COA accompanies.
