US WWII 1942 Dated Postcard-This American postcard is captioned 'Recruits drawing their first supplies on arrival at fort Jackson, South Carolina. This card has a very nice note written home to what I assume are his parents, who live in Winchester Massachusetts.The postcard is cancelled with a stamp from South Carolina and dated June 1942. There is a 1 cent George Washington stamp affixed to the reverse. This card is in excellent condition, and a great piece of war history.
