1951 Birmingham Festival Football League Badge Sports Medal

A good original circa 1951 period 'Birmingham Festival Football League sports medallion, in the form of a large unmarked white metal oval fob, mounted with a enamel disc bearing the emblem designed by 'Abram Games' which depicts the profile of Britannia's head with crested helmet on the north point of a four-pointed compass rose, inlaid with enamel in the traditional red, white and blue colours of the Union Flag. Very good condition. complete with original suspension ring, no stress marks or enamel loss.Height with ring approx 47mm.
