Description

'Infantry Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (Infantry Sturmabzeichen in Silver). The Infantry Sturmabzeichen in silver was instituted on December 20, 1939, by Walther von Brauchitsch and was awarded to all non-motorized infantry and mountain troops who participated in three different attacks on three different days. The medal is made of 'Feinzink' and has lost most of its original silver finish. The pin and clasp are complete and functional. The medal is not visibly maker marked but can be attributed to production by the firm of Paul Meybauer in Berlin. A beautiful original medal in good used condition!
