Austrian WWI Brass Enlisted Buckle, Field Recovered, With Keeper

Original era manufacture. German pattern stamped brass enlisted buckle, battlefield recovered in areas of the Brusilov offensive of 1916, where over 200,000 Hapsburg soldiers were taken prisoner. Dark brass patina with light denting to the surface. The buckle is complete with it's catch hook but the belt prong does not move.
