1898 Dated 'Merriam Patented' Knapsack

The knapsack is constructed of canvas and leather over a wooden frame. All leather closure and carrying strap is intact. The exterior of the knapsack bears unit stencils, while the interior has an Inspector General's Department stencil and a date of 1898. The knapsack exhibits spots and stains from use, but it is without damage or repairs. Overall good field used condition.
