Brodie MkII Helmet - WVS

A Brodie MkII steel helmet for the Women's Voluntary Service. Black painted helmet inside and out with WVS insignia to the front in red. Inner shell stamped with maker mark BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies) and a 1939 date. Liner and crosspiece intact. Liner also has a BMB maker mark and a 1939 date. Size 7.
