A good original circa mid century period 'Manchester Royal Infirmary pin badge' in the form of a large bronze embossed Latin title circlet 'VADE ET TU FAC SIMILITER (Go and do likewise) the centre depicting a scene from the Good Samaritan; the reverse impressed with the recipients name 'MABEL JOHNSON' 'CERTIFICATED NURSE 904' within a title surround. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order.Diameter approx 38mm.
