Georgian Royal Fusiliers Sterling Silver Salt/Condiment Spoon 1829

High quality solid silver salt/condiment dress spoon with an engraved device for the 'Royal Fusiliers' (City of London Regiment).The 4 1/4 inch (10.8cm) long spoon bears the hallmarks for top London silversmith William Chawner and letter dates the spoon to 1829, the finely engraved device is a rose head within a crowned garter, the wording 'Royal Fusiliers' can be found inside the circlet, difficult to read as finely done and slightly rubbed.Wonderful little item and considering its age not over polished/rubbed, light wear.**Sorry UK sale only**
