German WWII Postcard, Knights Cross Winner, Brinkforth

Original period manufacture. Black and white commercial card honoring Hubert Brinkforth, first enlisted soldier to be awarded the Knights Cross. He was credited with destroying 9 tanks in 20 minutes, during the invasion of France in 1940. He was killed in action in Russia in 1942.
