A scarce original post 1953 period 'British Transport Commission Police helmet plate badge' in the form of a die stamped blackened brass Queen Elizabeth crowned star, the centre with an applied chromium plated title circlet, the stippled centre mounted with Lion astride a wheel. Good condition, complete with original three loop fittings, minimal service wear.Height approx 114mm.
