Belgian Terssen Carbine Bayonet

Original period manufacture. Very similar in design to the French Mle 1866 Chassepot but with a more rounded pommel and different pattern locking button instead of a locking bar. 23 inch yataghan style blade with a steel patina finish. 1869 date on the ricasso.
