WWII German Army Cavalry Standard Bearer Sleeve Patch

WWII German Army Cavalry Standard Bearer Sleeve Patch- This desirable and scarce sleeve patch was worn on the army of standard bearers attached to a cavalry unit. It is machine woven in silver flat wire with yellow and black as well. This is over green. The insignia portrays two crossed Standards in miniature, with a cluster of oak leaves in aluminum thread woven at the bottom center. The insignia was cut from a stock roll, which makes it essentially a large square of cloth. It is unissued and in excellent condition and a very desirable branch piping.
