German WWII Edelweiss Gebirgsjäger Patch-This patch was worn on the right sleeve of Army Mountain Troopers (Gebirgsjäger). It is machine woven featuring an Edelweiss mountain flower with white petals, golden yellow stamen and green leaves. There is a light grey machine woven 'chain' around the edge, which terminates at the top with a silver flatwire link. This is over green rayon. Unissued and in very good condition.
