Large Reichsbahn Serving Spoon

The large serving spoon is approximately 10-3/8 inches long. The obverse of the handle is marked 'RKW Kantinen DR. RBD. Augsburg', indicating the'Reichskuratorium für Wirtschaftlichkeit' (Reich Board for Efficiency) Canteen of the German National Railway Center in Augsburg ('Reichsbahndirektion Augsburg'). The opposite side bears the mark of the DAF. the German Labor Front, and the designation 'M.D.A. Sch.d.A.', for 'Modell des Amtes Schönheit der Arbeit' (Model of the Office of Beauty of Labor'). Very good condition, showing some surface grime and uncleaned patina.
