WWII Front Seam Fixed Bale M1 Combat Helmet with Hawley Liner

The exterior, cork infused olive drab paint is largely intact, showing typical spots and scuffs from field use, but making a very good appearance. The web chin strap is soiled but is is secure on the fixed bales and it is complete and intact. The Hawley liner exhibits front edge losses and subtle cracks to the body, while the interior webbing is lacking the central circumference ring. Overall the helmet and the liner together comprise an excellent example of an early war M1 combat helmet set which shows use in the theater of operations but which displays tremendous character and makes an excellent appearance.
