U.S. BC-1000 Back Pack Radio i.e. Transmitter/Receiver. Widely used in various theatres of operation these type of radios became iconic and was often refered to as 'walkie talkie'.The radio is in nice used although very good and complete condition. Complete with a exstremely rare tan collor carrying frame and OD 7 collor belt , earphones, antenna, microphone and telephone. and its original manual. The BC 1000 is Fitted with original data plate and clearly 1944 dated. TheBC 1000 bears various other markings such as SC9336 (Signal Corps contract number), MFP (Moisture Fungis Proofed, to protect against moist) and MWO (Modification Work Orders).
