WWII German Luftwaffe Single Decal Helmet with Full Basket Chicken Wire

WWII German Luftwaffe Single Decal Helmet with Full Basket Chicken Wire-Wow! This is a great item! It has an old tag inside that says 'Captured in France in 1944'. The blue grey combat finish remains mostly intact. The Luftwaffe decal is very worn and is only about 10% intact. The chicken wire fits like a glove and has been on this lid forever. There are a few breaks in the wire but this is not any issue. Inside is a size 57 liner that has wear, staining and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked, dated 1940 and size stamped. The shell is a size 64 but I cannot see the maker. The rear skirt is stamped with a lot number that is hard to read. There is a fully intact brown leather chinstrap that matches the condition of the unit. A great looking example of a desirable combat helmet!
