German Luftschutz Model 1938 Helmet-This excellent example of the three piece 'gladiator: style helmet has a dark blue finish that remains 90% intact. The decal is in great shape, remaining 95% intact with minor wear. Each side has a pair of salt and pepper shaker ventilation holes. The liner band and oil cloth liner are fully intact, with some wear, discoloration and stiffness. The rear skirt has some markings, including the size, 58, price, 8 Rm and script that indicates that this meets the proper specifications. The original, wide grey ersatz leather chinstrap is present as well. This is a great example overall!
