A good (unfortunately missing its two brass blade fittings) example of a plastic cap badge to The Parachute Regiment

Sold
€80.00

Description

This is a nice example of a plastic cap badge to The Parachute Regiment. Plastic cap badges were first introduced into the British Army during 1941 as a result of metal shortages caused by the prioritised demands of industrialised war production. The wearing of plastic badges proved very unpopular with British Army personnel. These plastic Parachute Regiment cap badge's are difficult to find these days and this example is priced accordingly due missing its two brass blade fittings.
