A neat un-issued (white on red) embroided South Stafford shoulder title

This is a neat example of a un-issued (white on red) embroided South Stafford shoulder title. The 2nd Battalion of this Regiment is famous for their actions during the Operation Ladbroke, the Airborne landings at Sicily in July 1943 and there actions during the ill fated Operation Market Garden meeting heavy fighting at Oosterbeek and near Arnhem Bridge.
