RARE Wehrmacht 'Sanitäter' 2-Liter canteen with green bakelite cup by ESB 42/43

This extremely rare Wehrmacht Sanitäter field canteen is an original 2-liter example in outstanding, untouched condition. Large-capacity canteens were issued to medical personnel who required a significantly greater water supply, but while 1-liter and 1.5-liter variants are occasionally encountered, true 2-liter examples are exceptionally rare. After extensive research, no directly comparable 2-liter Sanitäter canteen in this configuration could be found publicly offered or documented, making this piece a genuine top-level rarity.The canteen is constructed with an aluminium flask and retains its original felt cover and complete leather strap system. All straps are present, fully intact, and in very good condition, with no tears or repairs. The leather remains strong and supple, all buckles function correctly, and the felt cover shows only natural aging. The piece has never been cleaned or restored and still displays original dust and patina from long-term storage, confirming its completely untouched state.A particularly notable feature is the original green bakelite cup, an extremely rare variant that is seldom encountered.
